“I believe that the fight for the revitalization of Staro sajmište must be based on consensus. Our task is not only to preserve what remains, if it is valuable, but also to ensure that the new is in harmony with it, meaning that we have to influence urban planning and architectural solutions as a whole. (…). the pavilions can be restored and house a range of museums. some kind of attractive large facility be built, where people could spend time, socialize, some kind of a cultural centre (…). However, this is where chaos begins, because the general situation in this country is worsening, as a result of the influence of tycoons and corruption at the local, city and national level.”
